few days after the start of the server, kaczorro_ joined and started looking for a place to start a city, after searching for some time a perfect place was found, a desert close to spawn with a few players living nearby: adame5 and Lazzy, later joined nothigalike. Soon after the place was found, construction of the first build began, living nearby Lazzy provided materials for the construction, construction was finished the same day, and the first skyscraper in nightdunes was made, this was supposed to be kaczorro's temporary base since plans for a better base were already present. For the construction of the new base, a lot of materials were needed, for witch a sand duper mashine had to be created, and for the mashine slimeballs were required, witch at the time nobody had, so journey of looking for a slime chunk began. The journey ended upon nothingalike downloading a minimap that shown us the location of nearby slime chunks, a room for slimes was dug and slimes aquired, the mashine could now be created. The first sand duper mashine was created under the temporary base where we quickly realised sand duping was disabled in the server settings. The owner later enabled sand duping and the mashine worked, so the new base witch is now the nightdunes hotel was created...

humble beginings of nightdunes (fictional lore)

after the fall original dwarfalls, one of the 3 legendary founders, left his once home and traveled far far away. Upon stumbling on a floating lake, the journey had stopped, here was the place where nightdunes will be created. Terrain here was a desert, where no player had yet been, a perfect place to start a new life. With everything left at old home, nightdunes had to start from nothing, first houses were built from sandstone and sand, they were short small and cozy inside, in the middle of the town was a well and around it was a wall, meant to keep invaders and wildlife away.

While ancient civilizations around the world were falling, nightdunes was greatly expanding, people from nearby dwarvaults were comming into the city and helping to expand it. After the death of the founder, a conflict broke out. Everyone was fighting to become the new leader, streets were burning, buildings were falling, until another problem strated. After the fall of older civilizations, new ones emerged, one of them, much weaker than nightdunes finally had a chance to become rich, they exploited the terrible situation of nightunes and launched a huge attack. Nightdunes fell imiedetly and all of the population was enslaved and taken to the cells where their fates would be decided. In these dark cells, the population was starving, everyday would come a guard and select a few people to be taken to work for the civilization. But one day, instead of the guard, a dark figure covered in robes came into the cells, its body was at all not visible, then the figure had taken of the robes and a white light blinded everyone around, too bright to be looked at for even a second. Then a voice spoke - "help will come", the light dissapeared and all that was left were the robes on the floor. Then the next day, sounds of a battle were heard outside then the door to the cells had opened and from there walked out a muscular man covered in blood and said - "I have been sent here by your god, you are free now, come with me". The group followed, they came into the desert where nightdunes stood, and they were all rebuilt and and in the same state they were back when the founder ruled. Everyone returned to their old homes and the mysterious hero was elected the leader, never revealing his identity he ruled over nightdunes untill his death and after that his oldest son continued his legacy. From here on nightdunes became a monarchy and peacefully expanded into what it is today.
